: DIY VINTAGE CANDLE :

                                                            :: my candle collection ::

:: One of my favorite items in my room is my candles, I think there are a beautiful thing to look at, and one of the oldest things you could have in your room. When it comes to candles I generally buy the basic ones from pound land. Light them until they naturally melt into place ::

:: Or if you want to have fun with your candles then try out this ::

:: This is a candle that I made, by melting candle wax from another candle then poured it into a vintage looking drinking glass, which I think looks quite cute and obviously more vintage ::
:: Follow these steps to create your own ::

1. first I got a normal candle ( one that I didn't like cause it was a modern style ) then I scooped out all the wax from inside the container and put it into a plastic mixing bowl.

2. Then I filled a small pan half with hot water then but it to boil at a medium temperature, put the mixing bowl on top of the pan then stirred it until melted. (make sure you keep stirring so it doesn't harden or burn )

3. Then get your vintage drinking glass and pour the wax in, then before it hardens and cools cut a very thin piece of rope or thick piece of wool and put it on top. Then let it cool.

:: To make the candles look more interesting you could get two different coloured candles and mix them, and like this one I have done you can try and take the mould out of its container to create a more natural look ::
